Burnout comes easy sometimes…especially working in the health-care field…seems recently I’ve depended on my own limited well of energy and emotion to get me through the daily grind. I want you, as a family, to know that through working with Laura, God truly has spoken to me and has renewed my passion for what I do.

I know, without a doubt, God has a purpose for Laura’s life…and to see how He is awakening her is absolutely phenomenal. As we look to her moving on in her healing process and eventually leaving us here in Fort Wayne, I know, without a doubt, she will be in wonderful hands…but in a selfish way, a part of me will be sad.

Your family is a witness of Christ to the hospital staff and the buzz around the place regarding the love and patience that your family has is truly impacting the lives of us who have the awesome opportunity to work beside you.

Continue to wait on the Lord. His timing isn’t always ours, as we know. But I trust and know that Laura is going to continue to make huge strides.
